We meet at your chosen location at the scheduled time.
No need for nervousness -- I guide you all the way.
We laugh, we play, we strike some poses and I'll also catch some candids.
Then I edit the hundreds of images down to only the best
and create a fun presentation for you to make your choices easy.
WHAT’S NEXT?
A few weeks after your session, you’ll get together with me again
to watch your curated images come alive in an exciting
slide presentation, which will help you choose your favorite images
for framing or canvas-wrapped to display in your home.
After your portraits are expertly printed and framed,
I personally deliver your archival-quality art.
And every time you walk by that wall, you'll

SPOTLIGHT!
As a former mental health clinician, I was trained to serve
first responders. From them I learned about the life-saving
capabilities of service and therapy animals. I welcome
all first responders with or without a service dog and /or
personal pet and those with a therapy cat or dog for a
session designed especially for you!
PENUMBRA BLUE STUDIOS VISION
I much prefer the natural world of Western Massachusetts
for photographing pets, families and kids.
While I love our local parks, meadows, lakes, and rivers,
and I would also be pleased to create images in your
own backyard or garden. At times we can also work inside
your home or another indoor location.
We decide together on the best location for you!

MY STORY
Every photographer has a story, and mine begins in my teens.
Photography quickly became my passion for capturing
special moments. Honing not just my craft, but even
more importantly, my art, I've grown into
a full-fledged pet and family photographer.
I opened my business in 2024 and now I can give you
100% of my attention, skill and creativity.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I'm dedicated to creativity, beauty and connection, and I prioritize artistic expression
and authentic moments. Every image I create should reflect your pet's and
your true personality. At Penumbra Blue Studios Photography, I know that
every pet and every person is unique and has a story to tell.
I use the art of photography to help you tell it.
Your portraits are created to be showcased on your walls, not buried or lost on your phone.
I love the outdoors and so I prefer to photograph pets, kids and families in the
beautiful natural surroundings of Western Massachusetts. If you don't have a
specific location in mind, I have many ideas for you!
MY PROCESS
From our first in-person consultation to the framed or canvas-wrapped portraits
on your walls, I take the time to understand your vision and goal and tailor your
session to create your best images. On the Big Day, I guide you through the
session, ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident, and that you
of course have fun! From our first phone call to your final artwork, I make your pet,
your kids and you feel at ease and confident that your final images will
